A Bit About Me...
I have been making walking sticks for close to 15 years now. I've always liked the security and balance of walking with a walking stick and decided to try making my own. I am very pleased with the results and started out giving them to friends and family as gifts. They all prompted me to start selling these and here I am! |

I began experimenting with different wood types and settled on Aspen for their strength, lightweight and finished look. I very quickly realized I had found my niche! I find great satisfaction if the making of these walking sticks and the joy others have in using them. |
Crooked Branch Walking sticks have been shipped worldwide! My
walking sticks have gone on to new owners in such places as Europe,
South America and throughout North America. I also have attended
many local
craft fairs and community events with great success.
Here I am with my bike on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina on my trip to the Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee

I live in Kanata, Ontario, am very happily married and have 4 grown children. I'm an accomplished cook (and have produced a line of ground pepper spices called “Johnny's”), a long time minor hockey coach, and a motorcycle enthusiast! |
